General Info
Sithonia is the 2nd of the three fingers of the Halkidiki peninsulas, located south of the central part of Halkidiki. It is easy to reach Sithonia, as it is a distance of about 100km from Thessaloniki. To some it is also known as Longos!
Sithonia is protected by Natura 2000, which is the centerpiece of the EU Nature & Biodiversity Policy. The network aims to assure the long-term survival of Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats.

The climate of Sithonia is mild. Sunshine over 300 days annually, while the summers are usually hot. Sea temperature throughout the year:
